Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Simon Thibault's works have been published in The Globe and Mail, Vice, The Coast, East Coast Living, and many more.
He has produced content for CBC Radio in the Maritimes, as well as for national syndication. It was there he produced a series about the role food plays in our lives called Assis Toi for four seasons. He also produced a radio documentary about culinary reconnections between Acadians and Cajuns for The Southern Foodways Alliance's podcast, Gravy.
He is the author of Pantry and Palate: Remembering and Rediscovering Acadian Food, published by Nimbus Publishing.
As well as writing and radio production, he is also a programmer at Devour! The Food Film Festival, held every year in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He was also a judge for the 2015 James Beard Foundation Awards.
